Stolt Sea Farm is the world’s leading producer of turbot with more than 4,000 tonnes delivered to customers every year. The company also produces 50 tonnes of the finest sole, 300 tonnes of Sturgeon and 10 tonnes of caviar every year.
The company employs nearly 300 people and reported an annual income of more than €42 million for 2006.
Always looking to improve and expand the operation, projects for new farms across the globe are underway as the company seeks to increase its production to satisfy a growing demand for sustainable food production.
Headquartered in Lira-Carnota (A Coruña, Spain), Stolt Sea Farm has marine farms in Spain, France, Portugal and Norway producing Prodemar turbot and sole. Farms in Sacramento, California, produce sturgeon and caviar.
