Stolt Sea Farm follows rigorous quality and environmental controls to ensure everything the company does is environmentally sensitive.

In 2006 Stolt Sea Farm was awarded the Environmentally Sustainable Activity certificate by Friend of the Sea;  a global group affiliated to the Earth Island institute, an international organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and organisations to create sustainable programmes.

The company was the first in its sector to achieve ISO 9001 (2000) Quality Management certificate for both production and commercialisation and the ISO 14001 (1996) for environmental management. Both were issued by ENAC in Spain, COFRAC in France and UKAS in the United Kingdom.
