The ongoing expansion of Stolt Tank Containers’ operations in China, India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America underscores our commitment to the constant enhancement of our premier network. Joint ventures in China, as well as new wholly owned STC offices in the other countries, have been established to support growing customer demand in developing regions. In Asia Pacific, STC has been at the forefront in building cleaning stations to serve this rapidly growing market.
STC is also focused on the implementation of innovative solutions aimed at helping our customers to minimise costs and increase efficiency. Establishing electronic data interchange (EDI) between Stolt Tank Containers and its customers and partners is but one example.
Other actions to expand our portfolio of services to customers include:
- The acquisition of Taby Group, and the addition of specialised tank containers for aggressive or high purity products, compressed gases and cryogenic cargoes
- Expansion of our food-grade business
- Entry into bitumen transportation
