  • STC acquires the tank container operations of Taby Group.

2007

  • Forms Stolt-PTC Bitubulk Pte Ltd (SPB), a joint venture between Stolt Tank Containers BV and Poh Tiong Choon Logistics Ltd. 
  • SPB specialises in hot and cold bitumen packaging and transport throughout Asia Pacific.

2006

  • STC expands its China depot network with new hub in Nanhui.

2005

  • STC acquires Ermefer.
  • STC forms Shanghai Stolt-Kingman Tank Containers Trasportation Ltd., joint venture for domestic distribution in China.
  • Flexitank services are introduced by STC.
  • STC expands Singapore depot and opens new bulk-distribution hub on Singapore's Jurong Island.

2004

  • Hub depot operations open in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

2002

  • STC establishes food-grade tank container division.

2001

  • Internet-based workflow tools and operating platform implemented to streamline STC’s internal business processes.

1999

  • STC sells Stolt-Nielsen Leasing.
  • STC opens office in the Middle East.

1997

  • STC acquires the tank container divisions of Challenge International in France and Intertank in Brazil.

1995

  • STC opens hub depot operations in Houston, Texas.
  • STC establishes an office in Shanghai, China.

1992

  • STC forms a joint venture container depot in Busan, Republic of Korea.

1991

  • STC establishes Stolt-Nielsen Leasing and the QLM management program.

1990

  • STC acquires both LGT and Trafpak tank container operations.

  • STC establishes depot network in Japan.

  • Singapore Depot established.

  • Stolt-Nielsen acquires United Tank Containers and establishes Stolt Tank Containers (STC).
