STC promotes harmonious working relationships with the local communities in which it operates and acts in a socially responsible manner.

STC fully complies with the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation, ISO (the international organisation for maintaining quality standards), the US Department of Transportation and other relevant governmental and private organisations. The international Convention for Safe Containers (CSC) has also issued certificates to Stolt Tank Containers.
