Deep Sea Services


Pacific Ocean Services

Outbound, provide regular services from North and South America to Pacific basin countries via the Panama Canal. These services alone provide approximately 90 round voyage sailings annually.

All types of ship are available, sized to suit market requirements – generally 20,000 up to 40,000 DWT .

Atlantic Ocean Services

Stolt Tankers & Terminals provide a regular service in both directions between the US Gulf and Europe, and both coasts of South America. There is also a service within the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.

All ship types are available and sized to the market requirements, usually 15,000 to 40,000 DWT. 

Indian Ocean Services

The Indian Ocean service provides regular services on routes between North and South America, Europe and Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean region, including the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, India and Africa. There is also a service between North America and the Mediterranean, and the Arabian Gulf to Southeast and Northeast Asia. Routes are also available within the Indian Ocean region between Africa, India and Southeast Asia.

All types of ship are available with 15,000 to 40,000 DWT.

General Product Services


Regular services are available on a scheduled and opportunity basis worldwide for Clean Petroleum Products (CPP), commodity chemicals and other bulk liquids in full, or near-full, shipments. General ship chartering and sale/purchase services are provided.


Shipping Routes: Regional Services

Rhine River Services

Stolt Tankers & Terminals provide tanker services on the Rhine River and its tributaries, covering the entire North-West European waterway network. The fleet is specialised in the transportation of bulk liquid chemicals and related products. A total fleet of about 40 stainless steel and coated inland tankers is available. Barge capacity varies between 1,300 to 6,000 DWT.

Inter Europe Service

Regular services within the North West Europe, UK East and West Coast, German North sea and Southern Scandinavia, Bay of Biscay and the Iberian Peninsular region including the Mediterranean Sea is provided by the European regional fleet. The fleet has around 20 fully stainless steel, double hull, high spec Chemical Tankers with cargo capacity ranging from 4,200 up to 8,200 DWT.

Inter Asia Service

A round voyage service is available between South-East Asia and North-East Asia, as well as from South-East Asia and North-East Asia to Australia/New Zealand, India and Pakistan, frequency of voyages fluctuates from monthly to four sailings a month depending on the trade route.

There are 15 ships in total operating this service, IMO type 2/3, with mainly stainless steel capacity. The frequency of voyages fluctuates from monthly to four sailings a month depending on the trade route. The size of the ships varies from 4,000 to 13,000 DWT.

Inter Caribbean Service

Regular services are provided to all markets in the Gulf of Mexico/Caribbean Sea region including the north coast of South America. Three to four ships with stainless steel and coated cargo space are sized to the market requirements – generally 10,000 DWT to 12,000 DWT. A regular service is provided throughout the region.

Stoltchem


Stolt-Nielsen signed a joint venture agreement with Sinochem to provide high quality chemical transportation coastwide in China.

The venture is currently operating 7 ships with more on order at Chinese shipyards. The fleet consists of stainless steel and quoted cargo space  ranging in size from 3,200 to 3,700 DWT.
