Tanker Trading consists of the Chartering and Ship Operations teams at Stolt Tankers.

Our Chartering team provides global commercial management services for the Stolt Tankers fleet. With more than 60 deep-sea parcel tankers, complemented by more than 90 coastal and inland tankers, Stolt Tankers is uniquely equipped to meet the needs of the world’s most demanding manufacturers and users of speciality and bulk liquid chemicals and a wide range of other liquid products.

Our deep-sea fleet, together with both our Stolthaven Terminals network and our regional and coastal fleets in Europe, China, Asia Pacific and the Caribbean, enable us to offer our customers a complete package of transportation service options that is unmatched in the industry. Recognised throughout the industry for its leadership position, experience and dedication to customer service, our chartering department is available to customers 24/7 through our worldwide network of offices.

Our Ship Operations team works closely with Chartering to ensure that each voyage is meticulously organised down to the last detail. Ship operators at Stolt Tankers receive extensive in-house training in order to meet our standards of performance. As with our Chartering team, our global Operations team is widely acknowledged as being among the industry’s best. Our ship operators help to coordinate almost every facet of a voyage, from loading and discharging to port calls, from transshipments and bunkering to tank cleaning and weather routing. By ensuring that the ships are fully prepared for the cargoes that have been fixed for them, and by serving as the coordinator for critical communication taking place among our Ship Owning and Chartering groups, as well as third-party owners, agents, our ship-management teams and of course customers, Ship Operations ensures that each voyage proceeds smoothly and in line with the expectations of both our customers and Stolt Tankers.
