This is a confidential system for employees and third parties to report directly to the Chairman of the Audit Committee any concerns they may have about such matters as:
- Possible instances of dishonesty or malpractice;
- Possible violations of any law, regulation, company policy or ethical requirement;
- Possible questionable accounting, internal controls
You are ENCOURAGED to identify yourself as this will help in carrying out a prompt and thorough investigation. It may also be useful as you can then be asked for further information, if necessary
ALTERNATIVELY, you do not have to give your name or personal details as the system has been designed to enable anonymity and configured such that your internet location/ip-address cannot be identified or traced.
PLEASE NOTE: The Company aims to promote a culture in which employees feel able to raise genuine concerns without fear of victimisation, discrimination or disadvantage. Consequently, no action will be taken against an employee who raises a concern in good faith, even if it is found to be unjustified after investigation. HOWEVER, concerns which are found to have been raised maliciously or for personal gain will result in disciplinary action and/or legal action.

To provide this service, we will need to process certain personal data that you provide to us and we will do this on the basis of your consent. Our legal basis for processing this data will be in pursuit of our legitimate interest in seeking to promote integrity and to deter or prevent unethical behaviour. We will hold the data in electronic form in a database managed by Merchant Cantos in the UK. A very small number of authorised staff have access to the database. Once we have completed any investigation, the information that you submitted will be saved according to our data retention policy which, in respect of legal compliance records (such as an allegation of corruption), is a minimum of 7 years.
