Our commitment to sustainability lies at the heart of our operations – from our health, safety and environmental performance, to our asset management, investment decisions and the way we recruit and develop our people.
Stolt-Nielsen strives to operate in a manner that is safe for both people and the environment. Our efforts to achieve these goals are supported by a broad range of existing policies and practices, and we are actively engaged in long-term planning to enhance our safety and environmental performance in the future.
Our contribution to the UN SDGs
The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a framework for governments, businesses and individuals to work to, creating a better future for both people and the planet. We have identified three SDGs where Stolt-Nielsen can help.

Our ongoing sustainability programmes ensure compliance with several internationally recognised quality standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management). and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
