No compromises: safety continues to be our top priority

Welcome to the latest edition of Stolten. The theme of this edition is health and safety, which has always been – and must continue to be – our top priority.  We cannot achieve any of our business strategies unless we operate safely.

With the current tailwinds we are seeing in all our markets, safety in the way we operate, the way we think and the way we act cannot be compromised.

In this edition, we highlight just some of the things we are doing across our four businesses to make certain safety remains at the heart of everything we do. Stolt Tankers shares the thinking behind its Slashed Zero programme which is designed to reduce incidents to zero by embedding a people-driven safety-first culture.

Stolthaven Terminals is making great use of in-house digitalisation initiatives to enable employees to take responsibility for health and safety practices and performance.

Stolt Tank Containers' focus on technological innovation is bringing new levels of global product protection.

And at Stolt Sea Farm, its already robust food safety standards are being further enhanced through continuous research and development and a pioneering digitalisation programme that encompasses all its operations.

To the employees of Stolt-Nielsen, I ask that every one you – for yourselves, for your families and for the environment – follows our safety policies and procedures in everything you do.

With the good work being done to keep safety front of mind, our people hardly need reminding, but our company ethos is painted in large letters on our ships: SAFETY FIRST.
