A five-step process, built on integrity
1. Sustainable biofuel is used on selected Stolt Tankers voyages
2. Emission reductions are calculated on a well-to-wake basis
3. Independent third-party verification by Normec Verifavia
4. Reductions are recorded in the Stolt Tankers Carbon Insets Registry
5. Environmental Attribute Certificates are issued to participating customers
Verification you can trust
The programme and every certificate issued are independently verified by Normec Verifavia. Biofuels are certified under recognised sustainability schemes (e.g. ISCC EU), and the programme is aligned with the GLEC Framework, Smart Freight Centre Market-Based Measures and recognised Book & Claim Chain-of-Custody principles.
Each reduction is allocated only once, preventing double counting.
