Udo joined Stolt-Nielsen Limited as Chief Executive Officer in September 2023. He provides strategic direction and guidance for Stolt-Nielsen and works with the senior leadership team to plan and execute the company's business activities to drive growth and profitability. 

Udo has over 20 years of experience in the international trade industry, with expertise in global freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics. He has held senior executive roles with Lufthansa, Deutsche Post DHL, Exel and DB Schenker. 

Udo joined FedEx in 2015, where he held several senior positions, including president of Healthcare, Logistics and Americas International at FedEx Express until August 2023. In this role he was responsible for the leadership and strategy of the enterprise-wide healthcare business as well as FedEx Logistics and FedEx Custom Critical.

He was part of the FedEx Express leadership team with responsibility for global clearance transformation, Americas International and Latin America and the Caribbean. He was also a member of the Strategic Management Committee of FedEx Corp., which sets the strategic direction for the FedEx enterprise.  

Udo holds a Ph.D. in economic science from the University of Duisburg, Germany and an MBA from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and a German citizen.

Jens F. Grüner-Hegge was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Stolt-Nielsen Limited in March 2018. Prior to his appointment he served as Vice President Corporate Finance from 2007. Earlier in his 25-year career at Stolt-Nielsen, he served as Director of Tanker Projects for Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group in Rotterdam from 2004 to 2007, where he was responsible for capital investment projects. Before that he was General Manager, Stolt-Nielsen Asia-Pacific Service (SNAPS), a joint venture chemical tanker company based in Singapore. Grüner-Hegge received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a citizen of Norway.

Maren joined Stolt Tankers as Fleet Director in 2019 and then held the position of Managing Director from 2022 until she assumed her current role in 2024. Prior to joining us, she was Head of Technical at Vroon B.V. Maren has also held surveying positions with Exmar, Euronav and Germanischer Lloyd.

During her time at Stolt Tankers, Maren has been instrumental in driving collaboration across the business and providing the highest quality ships to our customers. She has also successfully developed strong virtual connections between ship and shore personnel, which was crucial during Covid-19.

Maren holds an MBA from the WHU/Kellogg School of Management and is a Harvard Alumni. She is a German citizen.

Maren is a member of the Intertanko Council, the DNV Owners Committee and the board of ITOPF. She is also President and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the European International Shipowners' Association of Portugal (EISAP).

Guy was appointed President, Stolthaven Terminals in 2015. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the business, driving the growth, expansion and continuous optimisation of its global terminal network and the storage and distribution services it provides.  

In his role as Executive Sponsor for Asia, Guy is the senior representative for Stolt-Nielsen in Asia Pacific and provides support and guidance on the execution of the company strategy across the region. 

From 2013, Guy was Regional Director for Stolthaven in Asia Pacific and, prior to that, he held senior management positions at Bayer MaterialScience (Covestro) and Sasol. He also held positions with Stolt-Nielsen from 1996 to 2004, including manager of the Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group with responsibility for the marketing of the tanker, terminal and tank container business in China. 

Guy holds a BA in Modern Chinese Studies with Management from the University of Leeds (UK), a postgraduate diploma in International Commercial Law from Northumbria University (UK), and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (UK). He is based in the Netherlands and is a citizen of the UK. 

Other appointments 

Guy was appointed Chair of the European Petrochemical Association's (EPCA) Supply Chain Programme Committee in December 2021. The committee promotes openness and transparency in the supply chain, with a particular focus on the sector’s sustainability requirements and promoting the shift towards a more circular supply chain.

Hans was appointed President of Stolt Tank Containers in January 2022. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the business, driving the growth, expansion and continuous optimisation of its global depot and transportation network and the services it provides to its customers.  

As Executive Sponsor for India, Hans is the senior representative for Stolt-Nielsen in the region, providing support and guidance on the execution of the company strategy across all operations.  

From 2019 to 2022, Hans was Director of Strategy at Stolt Tankers, responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy for the business. 

Before joining Stolt-Nielsen, Hans spent 17 years at Maersk in various leadership roles related to container shipping and logistics. He holds a degree in Logistics and Transport Management from the National Transport Academy, Venlo and a Master's in business administration in Strategy, Marketing and Distribution from the University of Nijmegen. He is a Dutch citizen.

Jordi was appointed President of Stolt Sea Farm in 2018 after joining the business as Managing Director in 2016. Together with his management team, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the business and maintaining SSF’s position as a leader in sustainable aquaculture by driving continuous growth in production and sales, expanding and optimising SSF’s high-tech facilities and prioritising research and development to support industry-wide advancements. 

Previously, Jordi spent 14 years with GBFoods, where he held several positions in marketing, sales and business unit management, located in Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Senegal. Jordi holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, a master's degree in Marketing, and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He is a citizen of Spain, is married and has two children.

Jordi is also Vice President of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers (FEAP), and sits on the Boards of The Kingfish Company, the Spanish Association of Aquaculture Producers (Apromar) and the Galician Aquaculture Cluster.

Anne joined Stolt-Nielsen as Chief People Officer in Rotterdam in 2012. She is responsible for shaping and leading the company’s people and culture strategy which includes workforce strategy, diversity and inclusion, leadership and talent development, succession planning, executive compensation and total rewards. 

Previously, Anne was European HR Director at JohnsonDiversey and Corporate HR Director for Magasin du Nord in Denmark. Anne holds a master’s degree in international business administration and organisational psychology. She is a citizen of Denmark.

Peter Koenders joined Stolt-Nielsen Limited as Chief Information Officer in 2007. He is responsible for business technology, innovation and cybersecurity at Stolt-Nielsen, including developing and applying digital solutions to support the company’s logistics and aquaculture operations and business support functions. 

Peter joined Stolt-Nielsen from Maersk, where he was Director of Architecture, Strategy and Governance. Previously, he held a variety of IT management positions at Maersk, Sealand and Asea Brown Boveri.  

Peter has a master's degree in Information Management from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. He is based in Rotterdam and is a citizen of the Netherlands.

Nick Webb was appointed General Counsel at Stolt-Nielsen Limited in November 2020. Prior to this he was Global General Counsel of A-Gas International, the KKR owned gas and chemicals conglomerate and General Counsel, Europe of Centrica plc. Nick started his career at law firms Herbert Smith Freehills and White & Case, after which he also held senior positions at Barclays Capital and Freepoint Commodities. He holds a First Class Law and Politics degree from the University of Birmingham, UK (LL.B) and an LL.M from Cambridge University.

Alex Ng joined Stolt-Nielsen in April 2020 as Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy, based in London. Prior to his appointment he spent 14 years at Barclays Investment Bank, where he held several positions within Corporate Finance and M&A. Alex holds a B.Sc degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham. He is a British citizen.

Uday joined Stolt-Nielsen in November 2024 and leads the company's efforts to foster a culture of continuous improvement across all our businesses.

Uday began his career as a marine engineer and has more than 30 years of experience in driving continuous improvement across a variety of Industries and geographies. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, holds a Total Quality Management (TQM) certification from the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), and is also certified on European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). He has successfully led a variety of operational excellence initiatives in previous organisations, including one in which his company was recognised with the prestigious Deming Prize.  

Uday holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur, India and is an INSEAD, France alumni. He is a citizen of India.

Ellie joined Stolt-Nielsen as Head of Communications in 2017. She has a wealth of experience in corporate and investor communications, marketing, brand management and media relations. Ellie supports the delivery of business strategy by developing engaging, measurable communications. She is also the group’s main spokesperson and a key member of the Stolt-Nielsen emergency response team. Ellie began her career in advertising, including roles at Ogilvy and Leo Burnett, before moving to professional services, where she spent more than ten years in the marketing and business development functions of a number of global legal and consultancy firms. Prior to joining Stolt-Nielsen Ellie was responsible for Corporate Communications at FTSE-listed specialist chemicals company Johnson Matthey. She is a UK citizen.

Bjarke began his career as an officer in the Danish army and joined Stolt Tankers in 1993 from AP Moller Maersk. He was promoted to Business Director in 2009 and to Managing Director in 2019, responsible for the development and implementation of Stolt Tankers’ commercial strategy which creates value for customers through the delivery of seamless services. He assumed his current role in 2024.

During his time with the company, Bjarke has enjoyed various commercial postings in the UK, the Netherlands and the US. He is a Harvard Alumni and a Danish citizen.
